Obvious parts of this include making sure that youre dressed appropriately and clearing unreasonable amounts of background clutter.
This option is intended to give you a chance to notice if something is wrong with your webcam setup.
To do so, press your user icon in the top-right corner, then press options.
To access Zooms tweaks, hit your user icon, then on tweaks in the dropdown menu.
Once in the parameters, switch to the Video tab.
With this option active, youll get a webcam preview when you join a meeting with your webcam active.
Youll have to click a confirmation to proceed past the webcam preview and actually join the meeting.
Tick the Always show video preview dialog when joining a meeting checkbox in the Video tweaks.
