Recording a Zoom meeting can be very useful, especially when youll need the recording for future reference.
Zoom calls this featureLocal Recording,and its available for paid and free users.
For safekeeping, you could upload those recording to cloud services such as Google Drive or Dropbox.
You also have the option of adding those recordings to streaming services such as Vimeo or YouTube.
On the mobile app, youll also need a paid account to record meetings.
Once youve started your Zoom meeting, youre going to see theRecordoption to the left ofReactions.
Once Zoom starts recording, youll see a flashing red dot in the upper left-hand corner.
As soon as you stop recording, the file is converted to an MP4 file, and its saved.
Participants can also record the meeting, but youll need to give them permission to do that.
In the new window that appears, tap on theRecordedtab.
The left pane is going to show you all the meetings youve ever recorded.
pick the one you want to see and choose the Open or Play button youll see to the right.
The steps for Android and iOS are similar.
It would be nice that you didnt have to have a paid account to record, but oh well.
