To talk to other users, you need a microphone, and you better configure Zoom to use it.

By default, Zoom uses your default system audio input unit.

Go to tweaks, press your user icon in the top-right corner, and then press tweaks.

To access Zooms controls, tap on your user icon, then on controls in the dropdown menu.

Once in the configs, switch to the Audio tab.

In the Microphone section, use the dropdown box to choose the audio input unit you want to use.

Use the Volume slider underneath the dropdown box to configure the output volume.

Tip:The Same as System audio equipment configures your machine to use the system default audio input equipment.

If you change your system default audio input machine, Zoom will continue to match it.
