By default, Zoom doesnt apply any extra light-level adjustments on top of what your webcam performs automatically.
To do so, hit your user icon in the top-right corner, then hit options.
To access Zooms parameters, hit your user icon, then on parameters in the dropdown menu.
Once in the controls, switch to the Video tab.
Next, you better find the Adjust for low light setting and tick the checkbox.
