Tip: Window shadows are the subtle graphical shadow effects around all windows.
Shadows are a complex graphical calculation to perform in any graphics software.
However, it can be lowered further by disabling the shadows entirely.
This can free up a little bit of extra performance for the day-to-day running of your machine.
The window shadow option is located in Performance Options.
Window shadows can be disabled from the Visual Effects tab of Performance Options.
To disable window shadows, untick Show shadows under windows, then click OK or Apply.
This will remove the window shadows and slightly increase the performance of Windows on your setup.
