Everyone should have some sort of antivirus software on their computer.
What not everyone knows, is that Windows 10 actually has a pretty good antivirus product built-in.
One of the features that Windows Defender includes is automatic sample submission.
This is rare but it can happen.
If you want to disable automatic sample submission, you first need to launch the Windows Security app.
To do so, press the Windows key, then pop in Windows Security and hit enter.
Next, you gotta press Virus & threat protection in the left column.
Then, to initiate the configs, click Manage configs under Virus & threat protection configs.
Click Manage tweaks under Virus & threat protection tweaks.
To disable automatic sample submission, punch the slider labelled Automatic sample submission.
Enable and disable automatic sample submission by toggling the automatic sample submission slider.
To re-enable automatic sample submission, just hit the slider again.
Re-enabling this setting will not generate a UAC prompt.
