When you first got your machine, you didnt make many changes to the desktop icons.

Making those icons appear or not is easy to do and wont take very long to do.

Youll need to access configs.

Windows Header

Once youre inSettings, go toPersonalization, followed byThemes.

In this last option, look for and click onDesktop Icon options.

You should find the option at the top right of your display.

When you press this last option, a new window called theDesktop Icon Settingswill appear.

Youll see different icon options it’s possible for you to check.

By adding the checkmark, youre marking them, so they appear on your desktop.

W10 Personalization

The ones with no checkmark wont appear.

This way might even be a little faster for you.

Pick an empty area on your desktop and right-click.

Restore Recycing Bin File W10

When the options appear, place the cursor on theView optionand then chooseShow desktop icons.

The process is quick and easy.

Once youre in the Recycling Bin, right-choose the file you want to recover and choose the Restore options.

Drag and drop Site Lock

Its going to be the first one on the list.

punch the Windows Start menu and locate the app whose icon you want to restore.

When you let go, your icon will be there.

punch the file and drag it to its resting area.

Regarding the site, grab the lock and drag it to your desktop.

Youll need to access options.

Once youre in options, choose the Personalization option on the left, followed by the Themes option.

Once youre inThemes, look for and choose theDesktop icon Settingsoption.

It will be under theRelated Settingssection.

Find an empty area on your desktop and right-click.

After this, you should see all your desktop icons.

But the good news is that the files you put there can be recovered.

hit the Recycling Bin icon to open it, and locate the file that you want to recover.

Right-hit the file and choose the restore option.

Thats all there is to it.

tap on the Windows Start Menu and tap on the app you want to add to your desktop.

Without letting go of the mouse button, drag it to where you want it and let go.

You should now see the shortcut to the app.

If you ever want to change its position, select it and drag it to its new area.
