It saves a lot of time and headaches in the long run.

Sometimes, the formatting from another page or document can mess with the configs in your Google Docs.
To do this:
At the top-right of the page, opt for three dots and then chooseSettings.
Once finished, close Chrome completely, open it back up and head to a fresh Google Doc.
