Since then, its been a feature most users cant live without.

Some use it to tell others about their day, while others use it to sell things.

Lets see how you might become a WhatsApp status master.

30 seconds is the maximum amount of time for a video.

Still, theres a way you’re free to post your entire video in a perfect sequence.

All you have to do is post those sections in the right order.

The app youre going to need for this is calledVideo Splitter for WhatsApp Status and Instagram.

But theyre not too annoying, so unless you cant stand ads, the free version works just fine.

To split your video, tap on theSplit videooption.

Its the first option when you initiate the app.

Look for and opt for video you want to split.

To have the video divided into several 30-second videos, choose the first option.

Next, the app will show you a message letting you know how long the split will take.

Once the app is done, youll see the videos split into various videos.

All you have to do is post them one by one to WhatsApp, and youre good to go.

All the videos you split will be saved in the Saved Video option on the apps main page.

How to Silence a Specific WhatsApp Status

Sometimes theres just a status you couldnt care less about.

But, you look at it anyway out of curiosity.

you could do that by opening WhatsApp and going to the Status tab.

Tap on the Mute option.

As soon as you mute the status, itll disappear from the list of statuses.

But, what if you muted the wrong one or changed your mind?

Swipe all the way down, and youll see the Muted Updates option.

Tap on the drop-down menu right above the pencil icon.

Heres where youll see all the statuses youve muted, and they will also be greyed out.

If you want to unmute one, long-press on it, and the unmute option will appear.

Tap on it, and that specific status can be seen as usual.

Theres a way around it, but there is one drawback.

The drawback is that you wont be able to see if theyve seen your message or status either.

This setting doesnt have to be forever.

Just go back to options and switch on the feature again to see whose seem your status.

Instead of having to tap on the status again, put your finger anywhere on the screen.

By doing this, you freeze the status to look at it as long as you want to.

As soon as you let go, the status will resume as usual.

The good news is that you dont have to install a third-party app.

Keep tapping on the T, and youll see a preview of what that font looks like.

So far, you’re free to choose from five different font styles.

For example, lets say you want to add a red emoji that is apparently only available in yellow.

Go to the Status tab and tap on the camera icon at the bottom right.

Record a video or take a picture.

After taking the picture, you should see the emoji option at the top alongside other options.

Add a yellow-faced emoji, and then tap on the pencil icon.

All thats left to do is choose the color, and youre all set.

you could also add filters to your pictures by swiping up on the Filters option.

You should see options for various colors to the right.

When the status plays, youll see an eye icon at the bottom with a number on it.

That number represents the number of people that have seen your status.
