Slack workspaces, especially corporate ones, can contain some sensitive information.

People generally feel safe to assume that they can talk about such information on Slack.

Suppose you find that one or more people have managed to gain unauthorized access to your Slack workspace.

In that case, this situation needs to be addressed quickly.

One or more users could have had their account details compromised.

In this case, their passwords need to be reset.

The other option is that someone has been inviting unauthorized users to the workspace.

Youll also want to know who asked them.

It is also a good idea to start reviewing the accepted invitations.

Unfortunately, theres no direct way to get there from the main Slack utility.

Youll instead need to go through the member management controls.

To get there, you first need to press the workspace name in the top-right corner.

Next, in the dropdown menu, select controls & administration.

Then Manage members to pop fire up Member management page in a new tab.

On the invitations page, switch to the Accepted tab.

Here you might see a complete list of all invitations that have been accepted to the workspace.

it’s possible for you to see the email address and full name of each user.

Finally, you might see who invited them, and the date the invitation was accepted.

it’s possible for you to also see that no unapproved invites have been sent and accepted.
