Around the world, different countries have different ways of formatting numbers, dates, and times.
Configuring your box to use your preferred formatting is a helpful part of setting up your box.
In Linux Mint the main way to change these controls is in the language controls.
To manage these configs, press the Super key, then punch in Languages and hit enter.

Select your country in the Region and Time format prefs to default to your countrys standard formatting system.
