When youre using a computer, generally you control it with a keyboard and mouse.

In Linux Mint you could control all of these options through the touchpad parameters.

To open these configs, press the Super key, then pop in Mouse and Touchpad and hit enter.

Press the Super key, then bang out Mouse and Touchpad and hit enter.

Once youre in the mouse and touchpad options, switch to the Touchpad tab.

Tip: Be very careful disabling this option if you dont have a standard mouse connected or available.

it’s possible for you to disable this by toggling Tap to click to the Off position.

People have different preferences over which way the screen should scroll when scrolling with the touchpad.

To disable inverted scrolling, toggle the Revers scrolling direction slider to Off.

it’s possible for you to also choose to enable horizontal scrolling by toggling Horizontal scrolling to On.

you’re free to configure how the touchpad scrolling works in the Scrolling section.

Tip: Touchpad acceleration doesnt make the touchpad more sensitive uniformly.

This way fast swipes make longer movements, while slower swipes dont move the cursor as far.
