Having multiple people using a single computer can cause some potential issues.
The way to manage these risks and give people different permissions sets is to create multiple user accounts.
Press the Super key, then punch in User and Groups and hit enter.
You will need to immediately provide your account password to gain access.
Once youve authenticated successfully, youll see the current list of users.
To add a new user, nudge the Add button in the bottom-left corner.
Once youve authenticated, click Add in the bottom-left corner to add a new user.
In the account creation screen, there are three fields you better complete.
The first is Account key in, Standard is a normal user account, whereas Administrator has Sudo permissions.
The Username is your actual account name that will be used for creating your user directory.
Once youve set all three values, click Add in the bottom-right to create the account.
Set the Account jot down, Full Name, and Username, then click Add to create an account.
Once youve created the account, it’s possible for you to then review it in the user list.
By default, newly created user accounts dont have a password set at all.
To add a password, tap on No password set to launch the password creation window.
Here you simply need to enter the password you want to use twice, then click Change.
