This is generally resulting from overzealous filters blocking an important script or image.

Thankfully, you’ve got the option to manually override any rule in uBlock Origin.

Tip: There are two types of filters, online grid filters, and cosmetic filter.

A data pipe filter blocks the request for a resource, preventing it from ever being downloaded.

A cosmetic filter hides an element that has loaded on a page.

Disabling a data pipe filter

A data pipe filter appears highlighted in red in the data pipe logger.

Next, you should probably switch to the URL rule tab.

Here you might see the URL of the blocked resource.

The grey filter option means No-operation while green means allow, both controls will unblock the blocked element.

If the override doesnt fix the issue, you should revert the change and take another crack.

Disabling a cosmetic filter

Cosmetic filters appear highlighted in yellow in the web link filter.

Right-punch the uBlock Origin icon in the extensions bar, then select Options from the right-click menu.

pop crack open the uBlock Origin tweaks panel by right-clicking on its icon and selecting Options.

In the uBlock Origins options, switch to the My filters tab.
