If thats the case for you as well, go to the next solution.
The solution is to launch the Task Manager and end all the Office-related processes running in the background.
opt for Processes tab to get the list of all the active processes.
Simply right-punch the Office processes and selectEnd Task.
After youve done all that, launch the problematic Office app again and peek if error 0x426-0x0 persists.
If the Microsoft Click-to-Run service somehow got disabled, you wont be able to launch your Office apps.
