Starting over sounds like too much, but sometimes its what you should probably improve your computers performance.
Youll lose personal files, programs, and options by resetting your system.
So, back up anything you want to continue using after the reset.
This includes passwords, web client bookmarks, etc.
Your Windows 11 computer has a Windows backup feature thatll allow you to recover important files.
A security code will be sent t that email to enter on your system.
Once you enter the code, the syncing process will start.
To decide what files are backed up, click Manage sync options and toggle what you want to backup.

With the Remember my apps options, you only need to toggle on a button.
With the Remember my preferences option, youll need to check what you want to include.
Once in configs, go toSystem, followed byRecovery.
Under the Recovery options section, punch theReset PCoption.

The second option will erase everything on your box, including your files.
The second option sounds alright if you have a backup of everything elsewhere.
Youll also see an option called Help Me Choose at the bottom left.

Once youve reviewed your options, tap on the reset option.

Windows will download the updates, but it wont install them.
Thats something youll need to give the OK to do.
Its also a good idea to check for missing drivers.

In that case, you could try a third-party software such asAshampoo Driver Updatethat will do everything for you.
The software will show you a long list of drivers that have been updated.
