Method 1.
No matter which web app you use, this method is applicable.
We have tested a few options, and heres the one that suits us best.
Step 1: Open your web client and go toImageColorPicker.com.
Step 2: ClickUse your Image.
Now provide thewebsite/image URLorupload the image.
Correspondingly, youll see the HEX or RGB code, copy/paste and use them as needed.
If you dont like ImageColorPicker.com or want more options, you might try the following websites.
They rely on you to upload images.
So, youll have to take screenshots, upload them, and then find the color.
Method 2.
However, not all might help you get the color code from a website or an app.
Theyll allow you to pick and use the color within their window.
Step 1: Take ascreenshot of the websiteor the app.
Step 2: OpenCanvaon a web app (or app on your mobile equipment).
Select a canvas and upload the image.
Step 3: Next, open anycolor-related tool, text, draw, elements, etc.
Select thecolor boxfrom the top bar.
Step 5: Click + Add a new color icon.
Step 6: Select thecolor pickerandclick/tapto choose the desired color.
Method 3.
Although its a bit hidden, so lets uncover the hack.
Step 1: LaunchFirefoxand kick off the website you want to pick a color from.
Tap thethree-line iconfrom the top right corner.
Step 2: SelectMore Toolsand thenEyedropper.
Step 3: Now, simplymove your cursorto the color you want to identify.
Firefox will instantly find thehex color codeand present it to you.
Step 4: Notably, the Eyedropper will continue to inspect and deliver color codes, until you exit.
To exit the tool, simply click anywhere on the screen.
However, theres a catch; lets find out.
Method 4.
Use Chrome Developer Tools to Pick Colors
The color picker tool of Google Chrome is quite limited.
So, you cant get any color-related information about imported elements like logos, images, etc.
Step 1: LaunchChromeand initiate the website you want to pick a color from.
Step 2: Next, click thethree-dot iconfrom the top-right corner.
SelectMore Toolsand thenDeveloper Tools.
Note: Your screen will be visually divided into two pages.
Youll see the website to the left and the sites code to the right.
Thankfully, most common browsers including, Chrome, and Firefox support have such extensions in their arsenal.
