Slack is a helpful app that many teams use to communicate.
So, not getting one of those messages can cause severe problems and cause delays in team projects.
For example, did you pause the notifications on Slack and forget to enable them again?
If you pause the notifications, it will say so on the right of the option.
Tap thePause Notificationsoption, followed by theResume notificationsin red.
At the bottom, youll also see a message informing you when the notifications will resume.
If youre usingSlack on your gear, initiate the app and hit yourprofile picture.
If the notifications are paused, youll see that its on in the Pause Notification option.
Place the cursor on thePaused notificationoption and press theResume notificationsin red.
Tocreate a notification schedule, tap on yourprofile pictureand place the cursor on thepause notificationoption.
When the side menu appears, click onSet a notification schedule.
Choose your schedule, and youre good to go.
you’re free to be notified about All Messages, Direct Messages, Mentions, and keywords.
There is a Nothing option as well.
Ensure that the All Messages option is chosen to never miss out on any Slack messages.
To make this change tap on theYou tabat the bottom right, followed by theNotificationsoption.
With this option, you could choose when you want Slack to notify you about new messages.
you might select as much as 30 minutes after or even when youre active.
To check on yourWindows computer, press the Windows and I keys.
Once inSettings, go toSystem > Notifications > Slack.
If its on, the button at the top will say Turn off now.
Tap on it and see if you get the Slack notifications.
Trying this option is worth a make a run at fix the notification issue.
fire up the Slack app, followed by theYou tabat the bottom right.
Tap on theNotificationsoption, and thetroubleshooter optionwill be the fourth on the list.
Slack will go through a checklist to see how everything is running.
To repair the app on yourWindows 11computer, press the Windows, and I keys to openSettings.
Go toApps > Installed Apps > Slack, press the threedotsto the right and go toAdvanced tweaks.
Scroll down until you come across theResetsection.
Youll see two reset buttons.
One will repair the app without erasing its data, while the other will erase it.
Read the text on the option to know which is which.
To check for any pending updates on your Android unit, openGoogle Playand tap on yourprofile picture.
Tap onManage apps and devices, and itll automatically look for updates.
Itll display how many pending updates you have.
Go toSettings, and toggle on theApp updatesoption to revamp your apps automatically on Windows.
Confirm that you want to uninstall it.
Once the app is gone, go to Google Play and install it like any other.
To reinstall the app, install it again at the Microsoft Store.
