Some printers have the option to print a configuration page available in the system menus.
For example, the HP LaserJet 3550 model has the option available under Menu > Information > Print Configuration.
For Microsoft Windows, adhere to these instructions.
In some cases, you might need to know the MAC Address to the printer.
The MAC Address is often provided on a sticker on the back or bottom of the printer.
you might then query the MAC Address to find the IP Address its using.
On many Home wireless routers, the options are simple.
It then shows me the printer and the IP Address it is using.
Option 5 internet Scan
This is often my last resort when a printer IP gets lost.
The utility will show me a list of devices on every IP Address on the connection.
The Hostname usually provides some information on the make and model of the printers found.
