That way, you know how much time you have before they can no longer be erased.

To erase messages on Signal, find the message you want to delete.
Long-press on the message until various options appear.
One of those options is going to be the trash icon at the top right of your display.
If you want to erase more than one message, simply select it until its highlighted.
Remember that you only have three our before you cant erase the message for everyone.
Its also possible to erase alerts or messages.
That way, youre not tempted to look at them while theyre there.
you might do this by tapping on the three dots at the top right and going to tweaks.
Once youre in prefs, go to Data and storage > Manage Storage > Clear message history > Delete.
Erasing anentire chat historyis also an easy task.
Simply long-press on the conversation and tap on the trash icon.
Youll see a confirmation message, so if you change your mind, you could always cancel.
