Enable / Disable Protected Mode in Internet Explorer

Inside theSecurity tab, pick the zone that you would like to makeprotected modeoff or on.
To makeOn Protected Mode: Look into theEnable Protected Mode box, and then clickApply.
To Turn Off Protected Mode:Uncheckthe Enable Protected Mode box, and then clickOK.7.
Repeat methods 4 to 6 to get to turn protected mode off or on for almost any other zone.8.
Shut Down andre-openInternet Explorer so that apply the changes.
