The check mark goes away when you select them, which means the option is disabled.
Repeat the process if you ever change your mind and want to turn it back on.
Once youre in, on the left navigation panel and go to Account Management > Meeting Chat Direct messages.
Toggle off the option, and youll be warned of what will happen if you disable it.
Once youve created your meeting and its up and running, tap on the chat icon.
When the chat window appears, grab the three dots to the right of the emoji icon.
