Microsoft Word defaults to showing your recent documents when youre in the Open Document screen.
You may want to change the size of this list though.
Perhaps, you may want a shorter list with only a few entries for privacy reasons.
Alternatively, you could want more entries on the list, so you might easily find even older documents.
you could change the number of recent documents by configuring the controls in Words options.
Once in the options, switch to the Advanced tab, then scroll down to the Display section.
Once, youve changed the value, click OK to save the change.
When on the Open Document screen, its possible to switch to view recently used folders.
