Blocking someoneon a messaging app has its advantages.
You wont have to deal with that person sending you those annoying messages anymore.
it’s possible for you to finally hear that notification sound without worrying its from that specific person.
Good thing that Signal has an option where you canblock anyone.
Whats even better is that you’ve got the option to do both from the same spot.
You dont have to open it to see how many people youve blocked since itll be displayed.
If you tap on the blocked option, youll see all the Signal users youve blocked at the bottom.
Theres also an option to add a user to the blocked list without leaving that section.
Just search for the contact and select it.
Youll see the contact added to the list immediately.
You will no longer get any throw in of notifications such as messages, calls, or group invites.
You dont have to worry about the person you blocked receiving a notice that youve blocked them.
Messages are not resent.
When you unblock someone, they also wont get a message letting them know.
Maybe the contact is having Internet issues which can last for quite some time.
you might also try contacting the person to see if theyve been having problems with their messages.
If so, see if they are troubleshooting the issue.
Another reason why youre messages are not being sent is because the other person uninstalled Signal.
So try contacting them with another messaging app and see if the messages are delivered there.
