Discord is a popular communications app designed for gamers.
In private messages, you’re able to only use the standard emoji.
Tip: Uploading a custom emoji requires administrative permissions on the server.
initiate the server prefs by clicking on the server name in the top-left and then Server prefs.
To add a custom emoji, switch to the Emoji tab and then click Upload Emoji.
The alias automatically has a colon at the start and end.
you’re able to set any name you want as long as it has two or more characters.
Once youve uploaded a custom emoji, you’re able to configure its name in the Alias box.
Remember to put the colon on either side.
it’s possible for you to use custom emoji in your server by typing the alias within the colons.
Alternatively, you could use the emoji picker to use your custom emoji.
The emoji picker is another way to use your custom emoji.
Tip: you’re able to only use custom emoji in the server that theyre configured in.
