Youre working on something where you better calculate the average of the numbers you enter.
It doesnt matter if you have a lot of little numbers to calculate.
punch the dropdown menu next to the numbers.
When you punch the dropdown menu, youll see various options.
The average will be the second one from the top.
Youll only see the average if you have the cells highlighted.
If you click somewhere else, the average will disappear.
There is another way you could calculate the average without leaving Google Sheets.
Once again, youll need to highlight the numbers, and at the bottom right, press theExplore option.
When you tap on it, youll see different options.

If you oughta edit anything, tap on the Edit option.
you could do things such as change the data range and the headers.
you’ve got the option to also turn your information into charts.
Choose the one you like the most and place the cursor a the top right corner of the chart.
You should see an option to add the chart appear.
Average Function
Suppose you want to have more control over how the average is calculated.
In that case, you could always go with the average formula.
confirm you have the Google Sheets file open.
Find an empty cell and enter the following function,=average (A1:B7).
Suppose you dont feel like using that option.
