Many Skype users complained the app doesnt ring on incoming calls.
In other words, the app does not audibly ring when they get a call from someone.

Ensure the speakers volume is audible and the incoming call ring sound is not muted.
Then click onCallingand find out if only calls from contacts are allowed to ring on your unit.
Toggle off the option.
After you made sure the audio level in Skype is OK, check your computers audio prefs.
choose the Speakers icon and slide the audio volume slider to 100.
Then right-hit theSpeakers iconand selectOpen Volume Mixer.
Ensure the applications and system sounds are audible.
trigger the Audio Troubleshooter
Next, go toSettings, selectSystem, and click onSound.
Under Master volume, tap on theTroubleshootbutton.
trigger the troubleshooter and follow the suggestions listed on the screen.
Alternatively, you might also launch the troubleshooter from tweaks Update & Security Troubleshoot Playing Audio.
Next on the list, check yourFocus Assist options.
Update the App
Get the latest Skype app version on your system.
press your update notification and implement the newest Skype version.
Reinstall Skype
If Skype still wont ring on incoming calls, uninstall and reinstall the app.
Go to Control Panel, and selectUninstall a program.
Then choose Skype and select theUninstalloption.
After that, you’ve got the option to start your gear and download Skype again.
Ensure the audio volume is audible, and check your Skype status and Focus Assist tweaks.
