If your machine has multiple audio devices, you better select a specific machine to use during Teams meetings.
If you dont do that, Teams maysend the audio output to the wrong unit.
The only problem is that theDevicessection may sometimes disappear from Teams controls.
By design, this option only appears on the desktop app.
So, if you want to change your audio rig options, use the desktop app.
Update the App
Are you using an outdated Teams app version?
If you do, check for updates and roll out the latest app version on your rig.
Then find out if the unit tweaks are showing again.
To update Teams, press your profile picture and hit theCheck for updatesbutton.
If the app wont update, you might force the process by manually downloading the latest Teams installer version.
Launch the Task Manager and close all of these apps.
In this manner, Teams remains the only app that can access and use your audio devices.
Uninstall Audio Devices
Some users fixed this issue by using the gadget Manager to uninstall audio devices.
The bottom line is that if you use Teams, then dont install ChromaCam.
Unfortunately, the program often comes with your USB camera.
It will often lock your camera and microphone tweaks in Teams.
To uninstall ChromaCam, go toControl Panel, selectUninstall a program, clickChromaCam, and hit theUninstallbutton.
