My Apple iPad failed to power on.
Luckily a reset fixed the issue.
If youre having the same problem with your iPad or iPhone, just go through this.
Note: If your gear has gotten wet, dont attempt to power it on.
Instead, dry it for a day or two in silica gel or rice.
Powering the equipment on while wet could permanently damage your equipment.

Force a Reset
make a run at reset the gadget.
To do this, quickly press and release Volume Up then Volume Down.
From there, hold theSleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Sometimes, it takes up to 20 seconds before you will see anything appear on the screen.
So be patient and hopefully your rig will eventually turn on.
If the battery is completely drained, it may not power on right away.
Keep it attached to the power source for at least an hour and see if anything changes.
verify you use a wall outlet, as charging any other way may not provide enough power.
Once youre sure the unit is charged, try the step 1 above again.
Restore
Try a Restore by connecting the gadget to your setup.
