As a quick reminder, the function driver is the main driver for a gadget.
Its developed by the rig manufacturer and instructs the hardware on how to communicate with Windows.
Save the driver installation file on your desktop.
Then, right-select it and selectProperties.
Go to theCompatibilitytab, and trigger the program incompatibility modefor Windows 8 or Windows 7.
Then, right-choose your driver installation file and selectRun As Administratorto install it.
kickstart your rig, and test whether you notice any changes.
Reinstall Faulty Drivers
If your drivers got corrupted, try reinstalling them.
bring up the equipment Manager, and right-press the problematic driver.
SelectUninstall unit, and reset your machine.
Then, manually download the latest driver version from your hardware manufacturers website.
Your machine will automatically reinstall the default driver version.
Check for updates again.
If the Scan for hardware option is not available under Action, press the corresponding button on the toolbar.
Check for Hardware Compatibility Issues
The latest Windows version may no longer support old hardware drivers.
Or maybe its time toget a new computer.
If the issue persists, reinstall the faulty driver.
You may also want to upgrade your hardware, especially if youre using an old computer.
