Running a Facebook page or group can be a lot of work if you have a lot of members.

Adding an admin or two to the page can help reduce the effort required to maintain the page.

Thankfully admin management is simple for both groups and pages heres how to do it.

Facebook Header

Group

In the desktop web client, launch the group to which you want to add an admin.

On mobile, the process is very similar.

kick off the group to which you want to add an admin.

This will bring up the list of all group members.

The method for opening the menu to add an admin varies based on what phone you have.

On Android, you should probably nudge the three-dot icon next to a persons name and tapping Make admin.

On iOS, you’ve got the option to just tap on their name.

Tap the name or the three dots next to their name and then select Make admin.

Page

Again, adding an admin to a page is very similar on mobile.

Tap on Page roles and then Add Person to Page.

Permissions for pages are controlled by roles.

At this point, youll be required to input your password to verify your identity.

Add someone and give them the admin role.
