There can be various causes for your mobile data not to work all of a sudden.

This obviously doesnt apply to you if you have an unlimited plan, but not everyone can have one.

If all remains the same turn Airplane mode back and turn off your phone.

Once it completely turns off wait for about a minute or so and turn it back on.

Turn off Airplane Mode and 30 seconds and see if your cellular data is working again.

Another quick method that has been known to work is switching between online grid generations.

To reset the APNs go to options > Mobile Data/Wireless Controls/Wireless Networks.

Select Mobile Networks and then go to Access point names.

The list of APNS that youll see will usually only have one online grid.

Tap on the three vertical lines and select reset to default.

There are some phones that give you the option of choosing to set the APN protocol to iPv4/IPv6.

If youre given this option use it since it better then putting it at one or two.

To do this go to prefs > Mobile Data/Wireless Controls/Wireless & Networks > Mobile Networks > Access point names.

go for the plus sign icon or the three vertical dots if you have that instead.

Choose New APN and punch in in the APN data for the data pipe youre using.

Dont forget to save the info you entered.

Go to prefs > Backup and reset > Factory data reset.
