Copying passwords to your clipboard does come with a risk, though.
Generally, your clipboard keeps whatever is copied into it until something else overwrites it.
Thankfully, the Bitwarden online window extension can take care of this for you.
It does so by automatically clearing the clipboard after a configurable time.
To do so, punch the Bitwarden extension icon.
bring up the extension pane, then click Options near the bottom of the tweaks tab.
On the options page, punch the Clear clipboard dropdown box, then grab the time value you want.

you might also choose to disable this feature by selecting Never.
Select when you want the clipboard to be automatically cleared with the Clear clipboard dropdown box.
Having your passwords sit in your clipboard runs the risk that you accidentally paste them somewhere you dont want.
In the worst case, this could lead to you accidentally posting them somewhere.
