The first thing you do when you get a new phone is to personalize it.
You change the wallpaper and startadding your contacts, among other things.
Unless you change the keyboard size, theres a good chance youre going to see a lot of typos.
Why dont we see how it’s possible for you to give the keyboard youre using the right size.
Now tap onLanguages and input.
The Virtual Keyboard option will be the first one on the list.
Tap on the option and the keyboard youre currently using.
For this tutorial, Ill be using Gboard.
Since its a top-rated keyboard, theres a good chance youre using it too.
Once youve chosen the keyboard, tap on Preferences.
In the layout section, you should see the Keyboard height option.
Theres no need to reset your phone; the changes will take effect immediately.
What if youre already using the keyboard?
Once the three options appear on top, slide your finger towards the cog-wheel.
To adjust the keyboards size on the tablet, go toSettings, followed byGeneral Management.
Tap on theLanguage and inputoption; thatll be the first one on the list.
For the tutorial, Ill go ahead and choose Gboard as well.
After choosing the keyboard, go to Preferences.
In preferences, in the layout section, tap on the Keyboard height option.
Just like on your Android phone, youll see the same height options you could choose from.
There is no need to reboot your tablet.
The same goes for your Android phone.
Long-press on it, and the tweaks cog-wheel will appear.
Let go, and you should be in preferences automatically.
