An active spam call filter can prevent suspended spam calls from disturbing you.
On Pixel Devices
Step 1:Launch thePhone appon Android.
Tap thethree vertical dots menuat the top-right corner and selectSettings.
Step 2:Tap Caller ID and spam, and enableFilter spam callstoggle.
Step 3:Go back and openBlocked numbers, and enable theUnknowntoggle.
Step 1:Launch the Phone app on your Samsung Galaxy phone.
Tap thethree vertical dotsmenu and go to configs.
Step 2:Enable theCaller ID and spam protectiontoggle.
Step 3:Open theBlocked Numbersmenu and toggle on theBlock unknown/private numberstoggle.
On iPhone
There is no way toblockspam and unknown callers on iPhones directly.
However, iOS offers an option to silence unknown callers.
Open theSettingsapp, go toPhone > Silence Unknown Callers> fire up the toggle for the same.
Step 1:OpenSettings > Notifications > Do Not Disturb.
Step 2:TapPeople.
SelectCalls, and tap the radio button besideContacts.
Return to the Do Not Disturb menu and initiate the option.
Your Android will only notify you about alerts about important people and apps.
Step 1:LaunchSettings, selectNotifications, and tapDo not disturb.
Step 2:SelectCalls,messages, andconversationsunderExceptions.
TapCalls, and selectContacts only.

OpenSettings > Focus > Do Not Disturb > People.
TapAllow Calls Fromand selectContacts.

Step 2:SelectBlockand enable theBlock numbers not in the phonebooktoggle.
Truecaller on iPhone
Step 1:Download and installTruecaller on iPhone.
Step 2:bring up the Truecaller app and give it the necessary permissions.
Step 3:end the Truecaller app and open theSettingsapp.
Scroll toPhone, and selectCall Blocking & Identification.
